Steel Tubular Poles:
Tubular poles are suitable for low voltage electric power transmission, as well as low wind resistance. These products are easy to install and have a long-life span.
Swaged type tubular poles:
These tubes are made out of cold swaged joints of steel tubes, which are linked together by shrinking one end of the larger tube and swaged to the end of the smaller tube, which overlap to form a firm grip that can sustain the required static and dynamic loads on the pole.
Advantages of using tubular steel poles:
Wind load: Due to the curvature of the surface, the wind load is only about 60% of the total flat surface.
Strength: The uniform distribution of metal in the cross section of the tubular poles provides the same strength in each direction.
Corrosion resistance: Due to its smooth surface, the tubular poles have minimum risk of corrosion.
Installation: The pipes are easy to install and easy to handle, thanks to their light weight.
JEPCO Tubular Pole
- Poles are manufactured using steel according to DIN 17100 – ST 52 requirements.
- Poles are fully hot dip galvanized after fabrication.
- Galvanizing thickness is 500-520 g/m2.
- JEPCO Standard: A, B, C.
